Step 1:

First you will want to locate the air duct tubing under the drivers side dash. Once located, remove the air duct from under the dash for more access.

Please note, the side being removed is slide over another smaller section of tubing. To remove the piece, grab onto the far right section and pull to the left. Once the tubing is disconnected, allow the piece to hang freely down and out of the way.

Step 2:

Next, locate the BCM. This can be found above and to the left of the air duct you just removed.

There is only one connector needed which is the black BCM connector. Remove the connector by pushing the locking tab inwards and then pulling the connector outwards.

Step 3:

The black connector needed may be hidden by wires but follow up the BCM. The black BCM connector is the fourth one up from the white connector. Remove the black connector by pushing the tab inwards and pulling it outwards

Step 4:

Identify the wires in each pin location on the black connector. Pin 11, shown here in red, is the second row up from the bottom and the first column from the left. Pin 16, shown here in green, is the second row up from the bottom and the third columns over from the right. Wire color may vary between vehicles, therefore, pin locations should be your primary reference.

Step 5:

Utilizing the T-taps provided, attach one to the corresponding wire found in slot 11. Make sure to completely close the T-taps for a proper connection. For additional leverage, pliers can be used to close T-taps.

Step 6:

Utilizing the T-taps provided, attach one to the corresponding wire found in slot 16. Make sure to completely close the T-taps for a proper connection. For additional leverage, pliers can be used to close T-taps.

Step 7:

Once both T-taps are installed, find the blue marked end on the module. The marked end needs to be plugged into the T-tap on the wire going to pin 11. Proceed to bend the Flexible module to connect the other T-tap.

Step 8:

Lastly, reinstall the connector into the BCM. A click sound will be heard confirming the connector has been fully inserted.

Step 9:

Lastly, reconnect the air duct tubing under the dash.

Your Installation is now complete!
